The characteristics of the bengal cat
Size
Bengal is a cat of impressive size: it dominates in height, length and weight the most common breeds. Measures differ for males and females: males can reach 9 kg in weight, while females not more than 6 kg.
Color of the fur
– rose spotted, with small spots well distributed throughout the body;
– marbled, with three very wide parallel stripes on the back and butterfly wings on the shoulders and hips.
On the forehead it has a dark area in the shape of an “M”.
Head
The bengal cat is a feline with a slightly smaller head than the body, a bit like cheetahs. They have a full and wide muzzle, a slightly rounded forehead, a large and wide nose, with slightly swollen truffle and the nostril reed extending above the eyes and large and prominent mustache. Large oval eyes, slightly almond-shaped. Ears are small and tapered, slightly tilted towards the muzzle.
Body
The size of the bengal is supported by a robust bone structure and a very muscular body, striking features characterizing more commonly male specimens. The rear part is slightly higher than the front. The mighty physique is supported by very long legs, with large, round feet. The thick tail is of medium length, tapered at the tip.
